The Minnesota School Bus Operators Association represents Minnesota's privately owned school bus contractors. We provide over 60 percent of the school buses used to transport Minnesota children to and from school and school-related activities. Our members represent an average of over 50 years of experience in the industry and are responsible for over 400,000 students transported 233,000 miles per day.
It is the mission of the Minnesota School Bus Operators Association to serve and represent the interests of our members with a unified voice; to advance the passenger transportation industry's image, overall safety, efficiency, and reliability; to develop and distribute educational programs and solutions; to positively influence Federal and State government actions; to advocate ethical operations; to provide a means to establish and maintain relationships with fellow industry professionals; and to strive for a healthy business environment.
The Minnesota School Bus Operators Association (MSBOA) sponsors three awards that are given away each year at the Annual Summer Conference. The Awards Committee oversees the judging and administration of the Transportation Specialist, the Jim DeVeau Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Awards.
